Regional West’s Cancer Treatment Center and The Dorwart Cancer Care Center offer support programs and activities for cancer survivors and their loved ones. 

Festival of Hope 
The Festival of Hope is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help cancer patients who live in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming with non-medical expenses as they relate to their cancer care and treatment. For more information, call the Cancer Treatment Center at 308-630-1348.

Emma's Closet
The Cancer Treatment Center offers scarves, hats, and wigs at no cost to cancer patients. For more information, call the Cancer Treatment Center at 308-630-2427.  

Cancer Support Group
A cancer support group is available for cancer patients and their caregivers on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at Regional West’s Cancer Treatment Center. Call Barb Jensen at 308-630-2427 for more information.

Brain Fog Program
The six-week program is designed for adult cancer survivors, caregivers, and people experiencing post-COVID cognitive issues. Classes are offered free of charge and include a complimentary workbook and cognitive exercise tools. Call Kelly Fiesterman at 308-630-2427 for more information.

Look Good Feel Better
Area women currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation for cancer, or who have recently completed treatment, are invited to register for an upcoming Look Good Feel Better workshop, a free program sponsored by Regional West Cancer Services and The Look Good Feel Better Foundation. Workshops are held at Regional West in Scottsbluff and the Dorwart Cancer Care Center in Sidney.

The program helps women with cancer learn how to manage the appearance side effects of treatment, and includes complimentary two-hour group workshops with lessons on dealing with temporary hair loss, skin, complexion, and nail changes due to chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. A Time To Heal  
Regional West Cancer Services offers post-treatment survivorship support through “A Time to Heal.” This is a free 12-week holistic survivorship program designed to help women regain their physical, emotional, and spiritual health following cancer treatment. The group meets for approximately two to three hours every week for 12 weeks. Weekly instruction includes topics such as building resilience; focusing on healing; nutrition; facing our fears; regaining and maintaining strength; and surviving after treatment.
