Many believe that their donation to Regional West Foundation is an investment in the health of our community. Others believe that there is no finer way to honor a loved one or celebrate a special occasion. Some donors believe their donation to the Foundation is a fitting way to say thank you for the excellent medical care that they received. Whatever the reason, every donation is appreciated and put to good use. No gift is too small.

Health Trust

The Foundation's greatest need and most flexible and powerful tool is the Health Trust – the Foundation's unrestricted fund. Donations to this fund are distributed when and where they are most needed. This fund allows the Foundation to be most effective at meeting its daily and future development needs.

Annual Appeal

Annual giving to the Foundation is the greatest source of unrestricted support. These funds make it possible for the Foundation to address its greatest needs and to seize its greatest opportunities. Those who participate in the Annual Appeal are the heart and soul of the Foundation.

Tribute and In-Memory Gifts

Tribute gifts offer a special opportunity to let someone know that they have touched your life in a memorable way. Tribute gifts may be given to honor or remember others, to celebrate one of life’s many wonderful occasions, or to say “thank you” to someone who has made a difference in your life.

Memorial gifts are a special way to memorialize someone in your family or someone special who has passed away.

We are grateful to those who donate to our Foundation in honor or in memory of a loved one. These gifts can be designated to any department, our Health Trust Fund, or to specific Foundation programs here at Regional West. It is our pleasure to then notify the honored individual family or friends of your thoughtfulness through a personalized acknowledgement. If the gift is made in memory of someone, we will send the acknowledgement to his or her family.

Employee Campaign

Regional West Health Services employees show their caring spirit not only in the way they perform on the job, but also in the way they support the Foundation annually through the employee campaign.

We are touched every day by the patients and families we serve. Quality medical care is our priority. Through contributions to our “i Give” campaign, employees play a vital role in helping to ensure that “extra measure of care” for all who turn to Regional West Medical Center for health care.

Donations may be made through payroll deduction, a one-time donation, or the contribution of PTO hours. For more information, contact Regional West Foundation.

Legacy/Planned Giving Gifts

With a charitable giving plan, you and your family can receive financial and tax benefits while supporting needs here at Regional West.

A Legacy Planned Gift may allow you to make a more significant gift than you could otherwise afford in your lifetime and may also reduce your estate taxes. Giving opportunities are available that may provide lifetime income and significant tax advantages for you while helping the Foundation grow.  Leaving your legacy can be as simple as including the Foundation here at Regional West Health Services in your will or establishing a life insurance policy with Regional West Foundation as the beneficiary.

Legacy Planned Giving Gifts have a huge impact on the work we do here at Regional West Health Services. Gifts we have received in the recent past have allowed us to implement programs that will have a lasting impact.

If you should decide to create a bequest leaving a legacy to Regional West Foundation, we suggest you speak with your attorney. It would be very helpful if you would also inform us of your intentions so that we can recognize your gift, keep you informed about our work, and ensure that your wishes are met.
