Radiology, also known as Imaging Services, is an area of medicine that enables physicians to "see" inside the human body in order to diagnose and monitor disease. The first step in addressing medical concerns, whether it's a broken bone, a spinal injury or a suspected tumor, is to find its precise location within the body, accurately measure it and provide a "roadmap" that guides physicians during treatment.
Whether it's preventing or treating an illness, Imaging Services serves is a critical healthcare tool.
The staff of Regional West's Imaging Services Department includes:
- Board-certified radiologists
- Registered radiologic technologists
- Registered nurses
- Licensed practical nurses
- Technical aides

Working within their respective areas, the staff performs and interprets exams in a timely manner, providing physicians and their patients with accurate results as quickly as possible.
