SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Now some good news for women undergoing cancer treatment. You’re invited to “Look Good….Feel Better,” a free program sponsored by The American Cancer Society and Regional West Medical Center’s Cancer Treatment Center. “Look Good…Feel Better” teaches beauty techniques to women cancer patients in active treatment to help them combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.

In these sessions, trained, volunteer cosmetologists teach women how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. The free cosmetic kits provided at these group sessions are valued at over $200 each and are available in light, medium, dark and extra dark shades to enhance all complexion types. Women also learn ways to cover hair loss with wigs, scarves and other accessories.

Classes will be offered Monday, January 28 and Monday, February 25 at Regional West Medical Center’s Cancer Treatment Center, 3911 Avenue B, Scottsbluff, Neb. The classes are free, but class sizes are limited and registration is required. Each session runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. To register call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
