Regional West Physicians Clinic Employees Renewed as Certified Diabetes Educators

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., –The National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators (NCBDE) announced that three Regional West Physicians Clinic employees have successfully completed the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) continuing education renewal option process.

Patty Brisco, APRN, BC, CDE, is a nurse practitioner and director of the Diabetes Care Center at Regional West Physicians Clinic. She has been a driving force in the Diabetes Care Clinic since its inception in late 2002. She is dedicated to giving patients with diabetes optimum care and teaching them about health and wellness so they can better manage their diabetes.

Marcia Bauer, RD, LMNT, CDE, and Mary Skiles, RD, LMNT, CDE, have both worked at the clinic since February 1997. They not only provide care for Diabetes Care Center patients, but also supply nutrition education for community organizations, local businesses, and school age children throughout the valley.
