Regional West Employee Named As Recent Graduate of Doctoral Program

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., - Liana Watson, project manager for Regional West Medical Center was recently awarded a Doctor of Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Watson has been employed with Regional West since 1987.

Course work included critical thinking, research methods, leadership, ethics, organizational technology and management philosophy.

“This program has offered me many opportunities to apply what I have learned to my work as a project manager at Regional West.” Watson said, “The program focuses students on evaluating real-life issues in the workplace and developing models that assist organizations and individuals in evaluating these issues and identifying and implementing plans for facilitating organizational change to address these issues,” says Watson.

“We are very proud of Liana,” said Lisa Bewley, vice president and chief information officer. “Her accomplishment is valuable to the organization and we look forward to drawing on her decision making expertise in the future. “Liana is invaluable to our project planning team and her knowledge of technology is essential to many of the projects she successfully leads.”
