Nurse Practitioner Jina Nemnich, ACNP-BC, Recipient of Regional West’s 2026 Caring Kind Award

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Jina Nemnich, ACNP-BC, an acute care nurse practitioner in Regional West Medical Center’s Pre-Admit Testing department, is the facility’s 2026 Caring Kind Award recipient.

The Caring Kind Award, presented annually by the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA), honors outstanding healthcare employees who have demonstrated compassion for patients, cooperation with co-workers, and dedication to excellence in their job responsibilities. Since 1979, Nebraska hospitals have honored their finest employees with The Caring Kind Awards. NHA member hospitals statewide are eligible to select one award recipient from their respective institutions to receive The Caring Kind Award honor.

In her nomination from co-workers, Nemnich was praised for her dedication, compassion, and expertise.

“We all call Jina our walking encyclopedia, but beyond her knowledge is a commitment and passion for patient care,” the nomination read. “She is incredibly caring and speaks to patients as a friend, neighbor, and family member. The nurses who work with her can attest to her willingness to grow and mentor her team to provide the best patient care experience.”

Every day, Jina cares for patients who may be anxious, uncertain, or overwhelmed by an upcoming procedure. Her compassionate approach not only improves a patient’s experience, but also reflects the very heart of healthcare. She understands that behind every chart, diagnosis, and procedure is a person who deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness.”
