Free Diabetes Education Classes Scheduled at Regional West

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – The Diabetes Care Center at Regional West Physicians Clinic offers free community education classes on the second and fourth Tuesdays monthly from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All classes are held at Regional West Medical Plaza South, meeting room 1202, at 3911 Avenue B, Scottsbluff.

The public is invited to attend. No pre-registration is required. Upcoming classes include:

September 27, “A1C Champion: Walked in Your Shoes – Taking Control” presented by Bob Kolenkow, Sanofi Aventis.

October 11, “Vitamins and Herbal Supplements in Diabetes Care” presented by Matthew Weingart, Pharmacy Student RWMC, University of Wyoming.

October 25, “How to Make the Most of Your Diabetes Clinic Visit” presented by Sue Maxcy, RN, CDE, Diabetes Care Center.
