Free Diabetes Education Classes Scheduled at Regional West

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Regional West Physicians Clinic’s Diabetes Care Center offers free community education classes on the second and fourth Tuesdays monthly from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All classes are held at Regional West Medical Plaza South, meeting room 1202, at 3911 Avenue B, Scottsbluff.

The public is invited to attend. No pre-registration is required. Upcoming classes include:

March 8, “Heart Conditions – How Are They Diagnosed?” presented by Ward Krichau, RRT, NREMT-P, Respiratory Therapist, EMT-Paramedic, Regional West Medical Center Cardiopulmonary Department.

March 22, “Reducing Sodium in Your Diet” presented by Mary Skiles, LMNT, CDE, Registered Dietitian, Regional West Physicians Clinic-Diabetes Care Center.

April 12, “Monitoring – The Key to Knowing How Diabetes Affects Your Body” presented by Sue Maxcy, CDE, Diabetes Nurse Educator, Regional West Physicians Clinic-Diabetes Care Center.

April 26, “Taking Care of Your Feet When You Have Diabetes” presented by Dr Mark Willats, Western Foot Center, PC, Scottsbluff, NE.
