Schweitzer Joins Panhandle Health Services Team

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Mary Schweitzer, APRN-C, recently joined the health care team of Panhandle Health Services, splitting time between Mitchell Medical Center and Scottsbluff Physiatry. Schweitzer received her nursing diploma from West Nebraska General Hospital and then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Loretta Heights University (now known as Regis University) in Denver, Colo. Schweitzer received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas and is a certified nurse practitioner.

Schweitzer began her nursing career with the United States Army and has also worked as an instructor, head nurse and most recently, a nurse practitioner with an orthopedic group.
