Regional West Physicians Clinic To Sponsor “Pink” Event at Mitchell High School Football Game Friday

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Regional West Physicians Clinic will sponsor a “Pink” event Friday night at the Mitchell High School football game, in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention.

The Pink event will include a 50/50 raffle, with half the proceeds going to breast cancer research, and audience participation activities.

RWPC Office Manager Lea Anne Strain will be on hand – wearing a big pink glove – to pass out reminders to vote for the Regional West Pink Glove Dance video.

The Regional West video was produced by oncology nurse practitioner Sue Schoeneman, MSN, ACNP-BC, and medical/oncology nurse Megan Anderson, RN, OCN, who choreographed it.

The public is encouraged to watch and vote for the video daily at www.pinkglovedance.com (voting requires a Facebook® account). The top three vote-getters will receive a donation of up to $10,000 in their name to the breast cancer charity of their choice. The winners will be announced November 2 on pinkglovedance.com.

“We hope everyone in the region who has a Facebook account will watch the video and vote for Regional West,” said Anderson.
