Regional West Medical Center currently experiencing phone line problems

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – If you called with a billing inquiry or to schedule an appointment for a diagnostic test or procedure on Regional West Medical Center’s One-Call line today, you might have experienced a disconnected or unanswered call or heard a great amount of static on the line.

“Regional West is currently experiencing difficulty with telephone calls placed or transferred to Regional West’s One-Call call center at (308) 630-2700, said Faye Splichal, Regional West communications supervisor. “We are working closely with Avaya (formerly AT&T and Lucent Technology) to get the matter resolved. At this time, the problem appears to be random and not affecting every call made to the call center.”

“We are working diligently on the problem and hope to have the matter resolved within the next few days,” said Splichal.

In the meantime, Regional West officials are encouraging patients wishing to schedule an appointment for radiology, cardiopulmonary or pre-admit testing to call (308) 630-2754 or (308) 630-2769. For all billing inquiries, please contact (308) 630-1329 or (308) 630-2781. In cases where there may be phone line interference, the customer service representative may ask if he or she can call you back right away.
