Regional West Foundation Awards $63,750 In Nursing and Health Education Scholarships

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Regional West Foundation is pleased to announce that $63,750 in scholarships has been awarded by the Foundation to 34 students for the 2021-2022 school year. The students are enrolled at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing-West Nebraska Division, Regional West Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology, and Western Nebraska Community College.

“Regional West Foundation has been given the opportunity to manage several memorial scholarships honoring community members from western Nebraska,” said Jeanne McKerrigan, Regional West Foundation director of development. “For many students, the cost of a college education can pose a significant obstacle and receipt of a scholarship makes that goal attainable. What better way to support our future healthcare workers who will make a difference in people’s lives each and every day?”
