Regional West Physicians Clinic-Rehabilitation Medicine Introduces Regenexx, a Treatment to Reduce Pain and Improve Joint Function without Surgery

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Regional West Physicians Clinic-Rehabilitation Medicine now offers non-invasive procedures using Regenexx injectates that use the body’s natural healing abilities to help repair damage to bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, and ligaments. The procedure is less invasive than surgery, involves a shorter recovery time, and helps reduce the need for pain medications or prescriptions.
Regenexx’s proprietary research-based methods and patented protocol allow for the concentration of the patient’s own cells and precise application to the injured area by utilizing bone marrow concentrate, which contains stem cells, and platelet rich plasma, both derived from the patient’s own body, to promote decreased pain and improved function.
The procedure is performed with image guidance, such as ultrasound and fluoroscopy (X-ray), and customized to specific conditions or injuries to help repair damage to areas including the foot and ankle, cervical spine, elbow, hand and wrist, hip, lumbar spine, knee, shoulder, and thoracic spine.
While regenerative medicine has gained popularity over the last 20 years, Regenexx differs from other competitors through research, proprietary lab processing techniques, and a focus on precise, image-guided injections.
“The human body can do amazing things and with Regenexx we can help patients reduce pain and improve joint function without surgery,” said Joshua Sole, MD, FAAPMR, CAQSM, DABPM, RMSK, a physician with Regional West Physicians Clinic-Rehabilitation Medicine. “The goal of each Regenexx treatment/injection is to treat orthopaedic conditions, reduce pain, and improve function
by promoting the body’s own ability to heal naturally without the need for, or as an alternative to, more invasive surgery.”
Dr. Sole is a triple board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Sports Medicine, and Pain Medicine physician. During PM&R residency training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic and subsequent fellowships, he received training in comprehensive, non-surgical spine and joint care, including image-guided spine and joint injection procedures. He specializes in non-surgical, interventional orthopaedic treatments using bone marrow concentrate and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections to promote the body’s natural ability to heal and repair itself.
Regenexx has a strong research foundation and includes a network of trained physicians specializing in their techniques, like Dr. Sole. He is post-fellowship trained in jnterventional orthobiologics, and is the Regenexx affiliate physician for western Nebraska, eastern Wyoming, and the surrounding areas.
