Regional West Welcomes Six New Providers to Its Family of Clinics

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Regional West is pleased to welcome six new providers to its medical staff.

Kristin Harkins, MD, FACOG, a Scottsbluff native, is a physician at Regional West Physicians Clinic-Women’s Center. While providing women with a lifetime of complete care for over 37 years, The Women’s Center specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, which includes the examination, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of all aspects of women's health. Dr. Harkins earned a medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine, Omaha, Neb., and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

P. Bruce Ebrahimpour, MD, is an orthopaedic surgeon at Regional West Physicians Clinic-Orthopaedics. The clinic offers comprehensive orthopaedic and musculoskeletal care for arthritis, reconstructive surgery, hand disease, hand trauma, sports medicine, overuse disorders, arthroscopic surgery, pediatric musculoskeletal disease, and trauma. Dr. Ebrahimpour earned a medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. He completed orthopaedic surgery residency training at State University of New York Science Center at Brooklyn, Brooklyn, NY, and completed an adult reconstruction and joint replacement fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY. Dr. Ebrahimpour is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.

Hope Hansen, FNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner at Regional West Physicians Clinic-Orthopaedics. She earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Scottsbluff, and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner.

Lucas Sittner, DO, is an anesthesiologist at Regional West Physicians Clinic-Anesthesiology. Regional West’s anesthesiologists develop an individualized anesthetic plan for each patient prior to surgery, and employ a full range of techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after every procedure. Dr. Sittner earned a medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Parker, Colo., and completed anesthesiology residency training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita. Dr. Sittner is board eligible in anesthesiology.

Christina Tolomeo, MD, is an anesthesiologist at Regional West Physicians Clinic-Anesthesiology. Dr. Tolomeo earned a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, and completed anesthesiology residency training at Wake Forest School of Medicine. Dr. Tolomeo is board eligible in anesthesiology.

Karen Wineteer, FNP-C, sees patients at Regional West Medical Center as part of the Regional West Physicians Clinic-Hospitalist Service. Regional West’s primary care providers and specialists have the option of partnering with hospitalists, who specialize in the care of hospitalized patients, to manage their adult patients’ medical care during a hospital stay. Ms. Wineteer earned a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, and post-master certification as a nurse practitioner from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner.
