Regional West Physicians Clinic in Sidney Now Offering Virtual Healthcare Visits

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., ― Virtual healthcare visits using smartphones and computers are now available for Sidney area residents through Regional West Physicians Clinic-Family Medicine, Sidney and Chappell.

The virtual visits replace the need for in-person appointments for non-emergency patient care. With videoconferencing, healthcare providers can diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for illnesses and minor injuries. Virtual healthcare visits are covered by insurance. Patients who prefer an in-person visit will be screened at the clinic.

“We are providing virtual visits so our patients can receive the healthcare exams they need while maintaining social distancing,” said Martha Stricker, MBA, RN, CMPE, executive director of Regional Services. “Patients should call their primary care provider for more information. Appointments will be scheduled to help avoid extended wait times.”

Virtual healthcare visits are now available with all providers at the Sidney Clinic including Mandy Shaw, MD; Michael Matthews, MD; Clinton Dorwart, MD; Kyle Brown, PA-C; and Angela Robb, PA-C. Additional virtual healthcare clinics from Regional West Physicians Clinics will be starting soon.
