Regional West Foundation Receives $75,000 Donation from Kelley Bean Company

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Kelley Bean Company confirmed its longstanding support for Regional West Medical Center by presenting a check for $75,000 to Regional West Foundation’s Campaign for Continuing Excellence.

“It’s important for our employees, customers and the valley to have a strong regional medical center,” said Bob Kelley, chairman of Kelley Bean Company. He, his family, and his business back up that belief by contributing financially and with their time and expertise.

Bob and his brother Gary both served for many years on the Regional West Health Services board of directors. For the past few years, their Executive Vice President and CFO Lee Glenn has also been devoting time to serving on the medical center’s board.

“We have a long history of commitment to the mission of Regional West,” said Glenn.

In presenting the company’s donation to representatives of Regional West Foundation, Kelley Bean President Kevin Kelley said they are pleased that room renovations funded by the Campaign for Continuing Excellence have already begun and they look forward to taking a look at the new education center, which should open in late summer.

“We think the new education center will have a big impact on the hospital’s ability to provide continuing education for providers and employees,” said Kevin Kelley.

Regional West Foundation has been raising funds for the benefit of the hospital since 1972. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that solicits tax-deductible private contributions for the benefit of Regional West Medical Center.
