Register Now For 8-Week Parenting Program At Regional West

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Children don’t come with instructions, and as a result, many parents struggle to learn how best to care for, discipline, and nurture their children.

If you have children ages three and younger, you can learn to be the best parent you can be through the Circle of Security™ interactive parent sessions. This internationally-acclaimed parenting program, sponsored by Regional West Community Health and Panhandle Partnership, will be offered at St. Mary Plaza in Scottsbluff for eight weeks beginning September 9.

Decades of university-based research have confirmed that secure children exhibit increased empathy, greater self-esteem, better relationships with parents and peers, enhanced school readiness, and an increased capacity to handle emotions more effectively when compared with children who are not secure.

Circle of Security classes will be held in the Cheyenne Room at St. Mary Plaza, 3700 Avenue B on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. The fee for the eight-week session is $25. Scholarships are available. Seating is limited so early registration is advised.
