Regional West to Launch New Online Service for Patients

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Have you ever needed to change your upcoming doctor’s appointment? Have you ever wanted to view results of a doctor’s visit summary online? Would you like to ensure that all your personal medical information is stored in one convenient location? Now you can, and it’s easy to do by enrolling in “My Regional West.”

Regional West Health Services is launching a new interactive online portal called “My Regional West” to give patients instant access to portions of their personal health information. It will help patients take charge of their health care.

Once enrolled, patients can securely log into their “My Regional West” account to view a summary of their recent clinic visit or hospital stay, view lab results, keep track of immunizations and medication lists, and connect family members. Beginning October 1 patients will also be able to securely email comments and/or questions to their provider’s office, request or change appointment times, or request prescription refills through the portal.

Patients can log into their accounts from their home computer or their smartphone via a mobile site. There is no cost to register an account. Regional West encourages all patients to utilize the service and to actively participate in the management of their personal health care.

The portal is currently active for patients who have had a hospital stay since July 1. By the end of July, it will also be active for those who visit any Regional West Physician Clinic .

“My Regional West” is accessible at myregionalwest.com. Patients who have questions about using the new online health portal should contact their primary care provider.
