Walk-In Flu Shot Scheduled Tuesday
SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., -Regional West Medical Center and Horizons West Medical Group, P.C. host a walk-in flu shot clinic for adults and children on Tuesday, November 7 at the Community Health office at the Regional West South Unit, 3700 Avenue B, from 7 to 10 a.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) encourages flu shots for
-- Persons over age 65
-- Persons with chronic medical conditions such as asthma, diabetes or heart disease
-- Household members and caregivers of children or elderly persons
-- Children six months through four years of age
-- Health care workers
The cost for flu shots is $25. Pneumonia shots are $35. Payment may be made by cash or check. Medicare Part B will be billed for those who bring their cards.
