Still Time To Register For Cancer Survivor’s Day

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb., – Are you a cancer survivor? If so, you, your family, and/or support persons are invited to Regional West’s Annual Survivor’s Day celebration on Sunday, September 21, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Scottsbluff.

This free event is open to all area cancer survivors and their support persons. Refreshments will be served.

Cancer Survivors’ Day is an annual event at which cancer survivors, their families, physicians and other members of the oncology health care team gather to applaud cancer survivors and their personal victories. A cancer survivor is anyone with a history of cancer and includes newly diagnosed as well as long-term survivors.

Sunday’s guest speaker will be cancer survivor Jerry Yanke. He will share the tale of his inspirational and entertaining journey as a cancer survivor.
