Each year, Regional West is pleased to provide charitable contributions to the communities we serve, in order to fulfill our mission to promote the health and well-being of the areas we serve.
Charitable donations are not limited to cash donations. For example, Regional West donates medical equipment, consultation and assistance to other health care providers and community agencies in the region. We also contribute through our employees who donate their time and skills as they volunteer in the work of community organizations.
In order to ensure fairness in distribution of funds, Regional West’s Charitable Donations Committee has developed a guideline and application form. If your group or organization would like to be considered for funds or donations from Regional West, please complete the donation application below.
The Charitable Donations Committee meets the first Wednesday of each month to review applications. Applications are due two weeks prior to the monthly meeting. Only complete applications will be accepted for review. Applicants will be notified once their request is approved or denied. If approved, the applicant will be notified of the amount of the donation. All disbursement of funds will be in the form of a check that can be mailed directly to your group or organization.
The Charitable Donations Committee, when reviewing applications for donations, will consider the extent to which each application satisfies any or all of the criteria mentioned above. The committee will also evaluate the dollar amount requested. The committee has the discretion to accept or deny the application, to agree to the dollar amount requested, or to adjust it according to committee decisions. The decision of the committee will be final. Application requests will only be reconsidered if new information is provided to the committee.
Regional West expects organizations receiving donations to be in compliance with all requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Opportunities Act, and other federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
