Welcome to Regional West Health Services
Over ninety-five years ago, the citizens of Scottsbluff-Gering and our region realized the need to build a community hospital. Therefore, they began the tradition of providing high quality health care to their neighbors through the creation of West Nebraska Methodist Episcopal Hospital. Today, that tradition continues as Regional West Health Services, one of the largest employers in our region.
To serve the emerging health needs of the western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming region, Regional West Medical Center has grown from one hospital into a family of health care providers and health care services network. The continually evolving Regional West and our affiliates enable us to provide comprehensive patient care services and more access points for your health care needs.
Through the years, this once small community hospital has grown to become a 188 bed tertiary regional medical center; a teaching hospital; and our health system continues to expand including satellite outpatient services, integrated physician services, insurance services and other key health care services for our patients. However, one thing remains a constant throughout our history – the provision of high quality patient care.
When you choose Regional West Health Services, whether as a patient or a visitor, our staff and team will provide you friendly, safe, and caring services in an environment that is supported by our vision to be recognized as the premier health system in the western Nebraska region. Our team of caregivers is comprised of people you know – your friends, family, and neighbors. They are committed to provide you excellent health care services when needed.
We hope you will take the time to browse our website and see for yourself why Regional West is the leading health care provider in our region. When it comes to your health, you can feel confident knowing that the Regional West is committed to your health care needs.
