Rehabilitation Center Director Completes Physical Therapy Fellowship

Scottsbluff, Neb., – Jason Thyne, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT, director of Rehabilitation at Regional West Medical Center, has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.

Thyne earned credentials as a Fellow after completing a three-year fellowship at Regis University in Denver, Colo. A "Fellow" is a physical therapist who has demonstrated advanced clinical, analytical, and hands on skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal orthopedic disorders. Fellowship status is an international recognition of competence and expertise in the practice of orthopedic manual physical therapy.

Thyne holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney; a master’s degree in physical therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Amarillo, Texas; and a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Regis University in Denver, Colo.

He joined the physical therapy staff at the Rehab Center at Regional West in September, 2014 and was recently promoted to director.
